Three Reasons Why You Can't Lose Weight

Have you ever felt that losing weight or keeping the extra pounds off is more difficult for you than other people?  If you’re not suffering from a metabolic disease that’s causing weight gain, the secret is really simple!  You are:
• Consuming too many calories for your metabolic rate
•  Not getting enough exercise
•  Your body is holding onto toxins that are keeping you from losing the extra pounds.

The first two “secrets” are common sense.  The third one needs a bit more of an explanation. Toxins originate as a result of:
Poor diet
Lack of exercise
Need for a major detoxification

Practiced for centuries by many cultures around the world, detoxification is about resting, cleaning and nourishing the body from the inside out. By removing and eliminating toxins and feeding your body with healthy nutrients, detoxifying can help you reduce or stabilize a healthy weight, protect you from disease, and renew your ability to maintain optimum health.

Here are a few things you may not even realize are affecting you.  Do you eat canned food? Do you drink soda? Do you drink water from the tap? Do you take a hot shower without a filter? Do you consume zero calorie sweeteners?

Do you feel tired and sluggish?  Do you have a hard time losing weight?  Are you having skin problems?  Your body is in a crisis situation and desperately needs your help.  A cleanse may give you a quick jumpstart to better health. The concept of detoxifying the body is fundamentally different than a weight loss program that is calorie-restricting.  Yes, it’s true, while you are on a detoxification program you don’t have to cut calories.  Instead, you are instructed to eat the right foods and supplements so that your body can eliminate the toxins, waste, adipose tissue and fat that have been accumulated over time.  

Toxins that are stored in your organs get picked up by your blood capillaries and will get distributed to all the tissues and organs of the body.  A safe detoxification or cleansing program can support and encourage our body's own self-cleansing mechanisms to work better and more efficiently.

What do food additives, caffeine, alcohol, medications, herbicides/ pesticides, and household chemicals all have in common?  Each must be rendered harmless by your body’s detoxification system in order for you to stay lean and healthy. The thousands of toxins that overwhelm our detoxification system slow down metabolism.  So, these toxins not only make us sick; they may in fact make us fat!

In order to lose weight effectively, get rid of accumulated toxins as well as gain back your health, you can jumpstart your new lifestyle with a detoxification program.  Let’s not forget that without exercise and the right diet, you will not be achieving your goal of losing weight, keeping it off, and enjoying optimal health.
